Bulk URL Cleaner
Remove selected tracking fields while keeping the URL decisions visible.
Processes up to 1 MB and 2,000 nonblank lines locally. Accepts absolute HTTP or HTTPS URLs. No destination is fetched. Known signing/access keys keep the entire URL unchanged; other signed formats may not be recognized.
Paste URL lines or load the example, then clean URLs.
Choose what to remove
By default, decoded parameter names beginning with utm_ are removed without case sensitivity. Other names stay. Optional click-ID removal uses only the six names listed above. Custom names match exactly, ignoring case: ref does not match referral.
The cleaner splits the query on ampersands and removes selected segments. Remaining query text keeps its spelling, order, repeated fields, plus signs and percent encoding. Host and path spelling, fragments and duplicate input lines are retained. It does not sort, deduplicate, normalize or test destinations. A whitespace-only line is skipped; spaces around each line are trimmed.
Keep the evidence
- Keep a copy of the original list and state its intended use.
- Load the example or paste absolute URLs, one per line.
- Choose optional removal names only when you know their purpose.
- Compare each result with its original and inspect protected rows.
- Export the CSV for review, then check destination content and measurement before sharing.
Malformed percent escapes, invalid UTF-8 in parameter names, embedded whitespace or backslashes, non-web addresses and credentials are retained as invalid review rows. The browser URL parser is used for a limited address check, not as a security or destination verdict.
Recognize protected links
A query name matching signature, sig, token, access_token, auth, authorization, policy, key-pair-id, x-amz-* or x-goog-* protects the complete original URL. Names are checked after decoding. This limited list cannot recognize all access-link formats. Do not assume an unflagged URL is safe to change.
Understand the exports
The preview shows 100 rows; exports cover all rows within the input limits. CSV includes invalid rows and review notes. TXT omits invalid rows, keeps protected URLs unchanged and retains duplicates. Formula-like CSV values receive an apostrophe prefix; preserve the original input for an exact archive.
Read the worked URL cleanup guide and download the URL cleanup decisions worksheet. For campaign links that need tracking, use the UTM naming workflow and the Bulk UTM Builder in the directory.
Inputs are processed locally. See the Privacy Policy and tool limitations.
