Use & tool limitations
Terms of Use
Use the utilities as practical checks, and review their outputs before publishing changes.
Using ProSEO
ProSEO provides free browser utilities and practical guidance for routine website and campaign tasks. You may use the outputs in your own work, including generated campaign links, reviewed CSV files and working templates.
Use the website with data you are permitted to process. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, interfere with another person’s access or use the site to distribute harmful material.
What each utility checks
- The SERP preview is an approximate layout using supplied text.
- The UTM builder constructs URLs; it does not verify analytics collection.
- The redirect checker evaluates the supplied mapping, not live HTTP behavior.
- The robots tester supports basic ASCII rules and exact bot-group selection, with a wildcard fallback. Encoded paths and other crawler-specific behavior are out of scope.
- The sitemap validator checks XML and locations, not whether those URLs are indexable.
- The URL utility transforms URI text and does not assess the safety of a destination.
- The meta generator creates HTML from supplied fields and does not inspect a live page or promise a search snippet.
- The heading checker reviews pasted HTML, not live JavaScript, CSS visibility or the full accessibility tree.
- The word counter reports text quantities; reading time uses the speed you select and is not a quality score.
- The slug generator flags collisions within the supplied batch, not paths already used on your website.
- The CSV cleaner compares complete records after the selected trimming. Export formats differ in how they treat formula-like cells.
Review outputs before changing a live website. Keep a recoverable copy of the original configuration when applying redirects or crawl rules.
Review before deployment
You are responsible for deciding whether an output is suitable for your website or campaign. Keep a recoverable copy of the original configuration before changing redirects, crawl rules or other website settings.
Examples use invented data and example domains. Adapt them to the relevant site, then inspect the live result. A generated URL does not establish that its destination is safe or that analytics is recording visits.
Guidance, availability and external links
Tool outputs and guides do not promise rankings, traffic, indexing, advertising approval or any particular business result. The utilities may change over time, and errors or interruptions can occur.
External documentation is provided for reference. ProSEO is an independent toolkit and is not affiliated with Google or other services mentioned in its guides.
